Lists and items

A list is a collection of items the list owner wants. Each item carries:

• Title and notes — what it is, sizing, color preferences, anything that helps a giftgiver
• Photo — uploaded directly or pulled in by the URL scraper
• Price — pasted manually or scraped from the source URL
• Priority — so giftgivers can see what matters most
• Quantity — for items where multiples make sense (socks, books)
• Comments — back-and-forth between owner and giftgivers

Lists default to private. Sharing happens via partner and guardian relationships, or by adding list editors for collaborative lists (e.g. a couple’s joint Christmas list).

Giftgivers can also suggest items via add-ons — useful when you spot something the recipient should have on their list but didn’t add themselves.
